Grab your thermos, your grip,..... and your "sleighbells"???...TKW will soon be releasing a Christmas night texture pack for the NEC route (or any route for that matter!!!)The pack will consist of shape and texture files (easy to install and un-install), to turn any night-time activity on the NEC or on any route of your choice into one big Christmas festival of lights & decorations....!!!To install, you will simply back up your existing shapes and textures folders on the route you wish to use these in.....then simply put my modified files into the routes folder (clicking yes to overwrite). After the season or when you tire of it...simply replace your backed-up default files!!!Later, I will also offer a non-christmas night texture upgrade pack which will have nite textures for buildings that don't have any, and improve the buildings with not-so-great nite-lighting such as those default skyscrapers that look like "printed-circuit boards!!!"Here is a sneak preview......NOTE: These JPEG's just don't do the actual effect justice....converting the PCX files to JPEG's causes a major loss of color!!!...and that's what christmas is all about!!!...COLOR!!!!! XMAS Festival of Lights on the NEC… from LHW of TKW – image 2 The pack should be ready a few weeks before Christmas!!!HO-HO-HOOOO!!!!Bill Bzak aka Longhairedwizardbbzak@msn.com

Brilliant.
Excuse the pun. A nice touch to redo the default lighting as well, much needed.
Cheers

RE: XMAS Festival of Lights on the NEC...from LHW of TK

Derby415,No, I'm *not* a moderator, but please fix your sig to comply with the rules. I understand that you are proud of projects, but it's just too big at 639 by 337 and 73K in size. This is a far cry from 450 by 120 and 25K size maximum as stated below....Extracted from the Forum Rules... Item "B" - If you intend to use a signature banner in your posts, the maximum physical size allowed is 450 pixels wide by 120 pixels high. The maximum file size allowed is 25k. If you choose to use multiple banners, the above limits apply to the TOTAL phyical size (including space between the banners) and the TOTAL file size. Posts that exceed this rule may be removed without warning XMAS Festival of Lights on the NEC… from LHW of TKW – image 28 Pete Willard
