MSTS farewell awhile

Well all,its been fun over the last year train simming and talking to a few of you,but i've had enough with this game not working right anymore.I have lost my f9 key,it just doesn't want to work,when I push it lock up and get an error saying "failer to load button,trainops window does not exit".MSTS won't even let me install Robert Reed's ADFRR route even after he burned to a disk for me(Thanks again Robert).Thanks you all for modelling such excellent locos,cars,and routes.By the way,I have tried to reinstall MSTS several times to try and fix this problem and no success.So fore the time being,I'm going to put the game on the shelf and take a break.

From the sound of it you need to blame your own computer setup, not MSTS for the problems.

Be careful when providing direct proof of georgi's hypocrisy, he tends to have the proof deleted when you do that. It's been done to me first-hand.For the record, the linked post starts out (THE OPENING POST of the thread, mind you, completely unprovoked):

Georgi, your not worth the reply, but I did enjoy reading your one man self destruct flame war in the Trainz forum. I burned out on that subject along time ago, people I respect use both, so to each his own.

Eddie, could this possibly be a loco or piece of rolling stock causing this? I guess what I'm asking is when you reinstalled, did you try it before putting any addons back in?Also, did you completely delete the TS folder after uninstalling? Sometimes what is left is whatever was actually causing the problem in the first place since TS only cleans out default files.Just trying to help sort it out .. I hate to see someone leave if it could be prevented

I guess every once in a while, we all need a break from this. When you come back, try downloading the different kinds of heads up displays that are in the library, maybe changing the type of F9 that you use will bypass this problem.Take care, look forward to seeing you again.The RE made me crazy, crazy, crazy, you try typing messages with your tongue because the straightjacket won't let you use your hands.LC17

Ahh. . .'tis a sad sad story indeed.
I had a similar problem up until a few months back.
It just so happened that my computer had,not one,but Two bad RAM chips.
Now, this is just a theory,but maybe THAT'S the problem.
So,beleive me Eddie,I simpothise whole hartedly.Novelty.P.S.I recomend you take your computer to a tech right away.

I forgot to mention the other reasons why I will take a break from simming,to spend time with my kids and to start a rebuilding of my HO scale layout which will take a year to complete.
