Huh? The picutre you're showing is from the swiss line MOB.The only Swiss line in MSTS2 is the BLS line. And I don't think that it will ever look that good!!! -Matt, future Cirque Du Soleil singer-Crime: It's my anti drug -Creating Pac-Man comics for the humorless people out there

RE: Am I Hoping For Too Much?
Hi Matt, close, but sorry, you missed slightly...> Huh? The picutre you're showing is from the swiss line MOB.Sorry to correct you on that one. It is indeed Chillon castle in Montreux, which town is the start of MOB. But the picture shows the standard gauge SBB main line coming from Brig (where it connects to Simplon tunnel of BLS) and leading on to Lausanne - Geneva. That "Colibri" train in the picture is doing a local run and will stop at Montreux in a minute or so.Still we won't see it in MSTS2, I agree.Lukas a.k.a Swissie

RE: Am I Hoping For Too Much?
Hello! I stand corrected, then. I guess I should stick to what I think I know, which is the RhB. I knew that that was Montreux,so I just simply assumed that that picture was of the MOB.Well, looks like the Glacier Express is ready to leave Bergun, so I guess I'll be going, then. Uh, yeah. Thanks for correcting me! Learn something new every day. -Matt, future Cirque Du Soleil singer-Crime: It's my anti drug -Creating Pac-Man comics for the humorless people out there

RE: Am I Hoping For Too Much?
Hi Matt,> Well, looks like the Glacier Express is ready to leave Bergun, so I guess I'll be going, then. Uh, yeah.OK, have a safe trip. Beautiful season for the route right now (alpine springtime). And FO (now MGB) is already standing by to take your cars over Oberalp pass: > I guess I should stick to what I think I know, which is the RhB. Naw, learning something new is always worth it, I think. > I knew that that was Montreux,so I just simply assumed that that picture was of the MOB. Problem is that we've got a RR line literally in every valley. Or two, or more. The region around Lake Geneva and the adjacent Rhone valley in the Valais is full of different NG short lines, with the MOB being one of about a dozen. If you really are into learning, look at the following table and then speed to the next bookstore to buy a RR map of Switzerland (well, any map should do, as RR's should be in it by default) - I had to get out the map too, to make sure I don't miss one of these roads:Driving east from Geneva to Brig (ca. 120 minutes ride) you will meet:NStCM: Nyon - St.Cergue - Morez branching off SBB mains at Nyon / Lake Geneva BAM: Bierre - Apples - Morges branching off SBB mains at Morges / Lake Geneva LEB: Lausanne - Echellens - Bercher branching off SBB mains at Lausanne / Lake Geneva CV: Chamby - Vevey branching off SBB mains at Vevey BC: Blonay - Chamby (only museum RR as of today) MOB: Montreux - Oberland Bernois branching off SBB mains at Montreux / Lake Geneva Montreux - Glion - Rochers de Naye*: Branching off SBB mains at Montreux / Lake Geneva AL*: Aigle - Leysin branching off SBB mains at Aigle / Rhone Valley ASD: Aigle - Sepey - Le Diablerets branching off SBB mains at Aigle / Rhone Valley AOMC*: Aigle - Ollon - Monthey - Champéry branching off SBB mains at Aigle / Rhone Valley BVB*: Bex - Villars - La Bretaye branching off SBB mains at Bex / Rhone Valley MC: Martigny - Chatelard ( - Chamonix France) branching off SBB mains at Martigny / Rhone Valley MO: Martigny - Orsiers (Standard Gauge) branching off SBB mains at Martigny / Rhone Valley (now merged with MC) BVZ*: Brig - Visp - Zermatt branching off SBB mains at Visp / Rhone Valley (now merged into MGB) FO*: Furka - Oberalp branching off SBB and BLS mains at Brig / Rhone Valley (now merged into MGB)Those with an * are RR's using rack-track.Lukas a.k.a Swissie

RE: Am I Hoping For Too Much?
Thanks once again for englightening me! If you ask me, I think that the folks at KUJU should have included the Bernina Express, the entire route, Chur-Tirano, in MSTS2. It has everything: Commuter service, mountains, steep grades, tunnels, bridges, villages, towns, countrysides, street running, freight, passenger, and yes, even palm trees! -Matt, future Cirque Du Soleil singer-Crime: It's my anti drug -Creating Pac-Man comics for the humorless people out there

RE: Am I Hoping For Too Much?
Will you guys stop making me sad because I can't be there more often ! What did I say about getting a team together and with the collaboration of the European Alpine Scenery Railway Companies travel all the best routes, taking running Videos of the passing Scenery using Cameras mounted on the cars and then convert all that into a RAILWAY SIM SECOND TO NONE, including perfect Tracks from Okrasa ? Wait until you see his latest amendments to XTracks Points / Switches.KUJU are not up to that sort of perfection, they have to make money for M$ as cheaply as they can and have enough left for themselves.
