I am looking for a pair of routes. One for BVE and one or MSTS. Idealy they would be the same route, but if not, then similar. As part of the suggestion, also suggest a drivable train.
The reason? I finally have a box that will run both sims well and I would like to compare the two sims in the areas the both do. I know that they both do different things and each has its strong and weak points, but I want to see what they look like side by side ( or one after the other).
What started this was a download of the MSTS NEC V 4 route. It has a short section of the Washington Metro in it. It is the orange line. I have a Red line metro for BVE, but it is a work in progress. I would like to run two finished routes with finished locomotives.
Any suggestions?

RE: A route question

The Tokyo-Hakone route is available for BVE somewhere...

Eh, where did my signature go?
Where has my favourite LUL train gone? Maybe it was sent for bolt checking again...

Does anyone know where the Tokyo-Hakone line is and is there a series 200/700 to go with it?

RE: A route question

I don't think it was a series 2000 or 7000 or even a 3000. It was some other train, which was not represented by MSTS.

RE: A route question

Isn't the TGV and Kiha 31 in both sims. Either would work nicely

Sorry, my mistake, the BVE KIHA is a type 40, not 31. I forgot where I found it, but there is a site with a whole range of locomotives from Japan

RE: A route question

I have my test train. There is a Class 43 HST in both MSTS and BVE. They use the same cab. ( with permission) and the sounds are similar if not identical. I assumn the performance is the same.
Now to find a route. Still searching for Tokyo-Hakone for BVE. Thank you for the input so far.

RE: A route question

Actually, the Edinborough-Fife route for MSTS and then the Edinborough-Aberdeen route's will be a good comparison.
