The three trains, DLR, BR Class 35, HST Virgin 5 Car – image 1

BR_Class35I downloaded this because i didnt have it. I dont see them ever, but to be totally honest, i think the acceleration sound is total b***cks. The panel and horn sample are excellent, but are a llittle wasted by the acceleration.
maybe an over-haul jobby?DLRI dont understand why this train is out if the route is not on the verge of release? Hehehe. I like it a lot. the horn is not the best, but the acceleration and braking of the unit is very effective! Does this train have no driver? As there is no panel or anything, just the fron window. I cant wait for the route!
HST Virgin 5 CarOK, so the route file is out, but where is the train? To make it a five car set, all that needs changing is the .DAT file isnt it? Unless there is a new panel or sounds?
Any news on realease?
pete

The DLR route is supposedly on the verge of release... on the download page Joshim said that it is to come out today:"...at the moment the route files and objects are being uploaded as you read this and will be available to download tomorrow, but the Train files..."As for the rest... I'll leave it to others Tim Frost

Eh, where did my signature go?
Where has my favourite LUL train gone? Maybe it was sent for bolt checking again...

DLR trains are fully automatic and controlled by a computer. However, there is a locked panel which when opened allows the Train Captain, or whatever they're now called, to drive the train manually. The train captains also close doors and make announcments.

Hi Pete,I posted this on the other thread, but the 5 car HST (along with a whole pile of other stuff) will be out as soon as I make some changes and get it tested. I don't know when that will be, since real life commitments are pretty nuts at the moment. The train will be a complete overhaul, including completely new engine, track, horn and brake sounds. Only the cab remains the same.DavidBVE in Glasgow:

LOL, Woo Hoo!
This is getting real picky, but.....
One problem, that isnt a problem --> 43184, thats the number of the current HST right? Well, it is still in Virgin Livery, so its still a Virgin HSt, but now its been sold to MML! Hurrah! LOL.
So its right, and wrong, but dont change it, its my fave HST!
