File Needed – image 1

Howdy, folks. I'm on my quest to ensure that the locomotives in my fleet have all their sound files and so forth---call it quality assurance---and Conbuilder has told me that I'm missing something from my Norfolk & Western Fairbanks-Morse slug's sound fit. The file in question is x_SP_tm_horn1.wav, and it's nowhere on my system. There's another horn file reference in the SMS; it's called x_slug_horn1.wav, and it's present in the appropriate folder, right at 7KB modified on 4/7/02 at 12:16 PM. After having to work with the Alco PA-1 sound set for a little to ensure that everything was cooperating, I'm highly suspicious that x_SP_tm_horn1.wav would be remarkably like x_slug_horn1.wav, but I want to make sure that there isn't some difference. Anyone got a take on this? Thanks!

If the unit is a slug, I wouldn't worry too much about it having a horn or not!!Or...you could grab any horn from any other unit and rename it to that needed filename. Or just put a blank file in there with that filename, as long as it is slug -- to fool ConBuilder into thinking the file is there. That particular file (x_SP_tm_horn1.wav) is actually a Nathan M-3 horn....if you don't feel comfortable with doing anything I suggested above, feel free to contact me at:
sjhoskins@earthlink.netI'd be happy to forward the file to you. It's 131KB, not too big for attaching to e-mail.
