Feb-20-02, 07:10 AM (EDT) "Resuming Downloads with Getright" I have been trying to download White_2.zip from Train-Sim for the last four or five days. I usually do this at night because the file is so big. However, the first time I downloaded 32 of the 70 MB file, the next time 16, last night I got to 72 % before it quit downloading. When I try to resume downloading it will not resume. I get a server busy and that is as far as it will go. Hsa anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Dave Horton (Zoomie) Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Oh, well. Sounds like you need Download Accelerator Plus from
Download.com. This is a proven and safe download manager
that should solve your dilema. Here's the link:

Feb-21-02, 10:05 AM (EDT) 3. "RE: Resuming Downloads with Getright" OK Guys,I downloaded Zoomie DownloadeAccelerator Plus. It seamed to work better than Getright. One thing I failed to remember is that you have to wait a few minutes before a download resumes especially when the download is about 71 MB. So last night the server timed out at 62 MB for some reason. I guess Train-Sim must have a limit and says bye bye. I did get the rest of White_2 this morning. Us retired people now have time to do these kinds of things. My next step is to get the Cable Internet hooked up and then I will not be tied to this slow modem. I don't care as MSTS is still better than the other new program. I bought it and MSTS still has more features, in my opinion of course. Best wishes and thanks for your inputs.Dave Horton (Zoomie)
