Jan-10-02, 01:57 AM (EST) "UPRR Olympic Torch Train" For those interested, as in 1996, Union Pacific is running the Olympic Torch train across the country. It's a specially made train with a special flatcar carrying an Olympic caldron that actually is in full flame as the train travels along. The link below if UP's site with info, a few pictures, and the train's schedule. Looks to be pretty impressive. If I can get some photos I'll post 'em. She'll be in Omaha the 10th, so maybe I'll meet up with her somewhere along the way. Out.http://www.uprr.com/notes/corpcomm/011227_jan_olysched.shtml Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Arizona this train will be in Tucson at 10:00 am on sunday the 13th (2 days from now) so expect to see me at the Ex-Espee station on Toole Ave in Downtown Tucson.
