I need a little help. Abpout six months ago, there were several threads running regarding programs to help pick up a download when it was interrupted for some reason. I can't find any of the threads now, or the programs/utilities they referred to. Can anyone help? My biggest problem is NALW's GE MegaPak. I get about 28Mb, and my server decides I've been on long enough. (I know, I know, I should get a new server or DSL/CDSL - that's a different subject thread ) When I go to re-start, it starts the whole download over again. Very frustrating.

Try download accelerator. I used to use this before I went DSL.

Download Accelerator; I'm not familiar with it. Is it part of Windows, or an add-in? I was able to finally get the megapak after four tries, but I'll bet there will be others that I'll wrestle with, and I would sure like to simplify the procedure.

Download axecellator plus www.speedbit.com the basic one has an resume feature so if you get kicked off line in the middle of your d/l it will automaticly resume wher you left of so you dont have to start over from the begining
