I recently downloaded the patch for Mapleleaf Sandpatch route and for some reason it messed up my whole train sim; every time i clicked the icon i kept getting a temp. file download message. I had no choice but to uninstall all my train sim files and reload them. Now i want to download the 3dtrains 1.6 version for Cajon Pass and i am not sure whether to download from current location or save program to disc; i don't want to repeat what happened before. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

RE: Download question

Firstly thanks for the heads up on the update - first I knew of it.The only way you should use this upgrade is by downloading the update and then running it as per their website 'PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO OPEN OR RUN FROM OUR SERVER, SAVE IT FIRST. THANK YOU.' so just download it as you would a file from the downloads section on this site.Bill
