Don't know if this is quite what you were looking for, but it's got some good info on a variety of locomotives.http://www.railfanusa.com/info/stats.htmlJordan L. La Junta, CO

Hi I.F.Specs for EMD SD-70M, SD70MAC and SD90MAC can be found at www.gmemd.com. Click on North American Freight Locomotives. Can't help you on the older beasts, though. Their web site only has the newest ones.Larry

RE: Looking for sites with specs
Dont know exactly what you mean by specs, you can find some numerical data in text only form, but whats out there is not of any great variety. There are some line drawings available with and without color and then again not in much coverage to all the models EMD produced. But if youre looking for blurprint like drawings with dimensional data, they are virtually nonexistant on the web. Believe me I've been scouring the web for months. The reason is most of the data available is copyrighted and protected buy current owners of such material. However, George Elwood's RR site has a locomotive operators manual section for ALOT of locomotives which you can download for personal use, these are great for operational and maintanence data and have some pictures and illustrations. Some of which he cannot post of newer models because of copyright to the loco manufactures. May I suggest if you are interested in this type of material go and download it before it should disappear, If EMD should take the stance as the UP has lately those manuals most certainly will be gone. Hope this helps you out, and have a great holidays! John
