The new demo is available from Avault, Strategy First http://www.strategyfirst.com/en/ and also Fileplanet for those that are members. This demo includes the Blue Sky Steel scenario and of course all the new features for UTC. If you have been thinking about getting the latest version of Trainz to see how much it has improved, then try the demo and check it out for yourself.CheersTony
Thanks Tony, I might check it out, eventhough I am DEFINATLY getting UTC anyways.

Dont forget to download the the Krok loco as well as the 33MB patch as well when you get UTC. The patch adds 1 more scenario clears up the rainbow and running number bugs + a few other "minor" issuesas well as some more enhancements to UTC. I am damn impressed with UTC slight problem I havent even looked at all the new content that I can stick into my Hentis Rail route yer been so busy running the trainz. :pCheers Hentis Trainz a toy hah I dont think So.

Well to me there was nothing wrong with direct X for some strange reason the reason why some USA and aussie bridges were showing up as white was due to a corrupted installation for some strange reason. Direct X works well for some strange reason. Havent applied the Build 404 Patch just yet, havent had time. Possibly over Xmas period when I have time off work. We have new trains being delivered on our network ones that were built in Germany) so I want to try and get a few pics of those as well. What Direct X probs are you having? Is this with UTC or Trainz sp3? Hentis Trainz a toy hah I dont think So.

RE: New Trainz Demo available!
Ok, this is SP3, so I don't know if they are in UTC. -------- System Stats: PIII 800 mhz 128 meg ddr ram Ati Radeon 7000 w/64 meg ddr video ram Latest Drivers (Cataclyst 3.0) Direct X 9.0 (These errors were present before too.) Everything in Trainz turned to max. -------- First, I get white patches everywhere in the Terrain. It happenes in Surveyor and Driver.Second, where the water touches edges of the riverbed, it shows through. The only reason I am using Direct X is because my frame rates are 5x-10x better than my OpenGL ones. -------- Maybe I should post over at Auran's Boards? I have only posted there before 2 times.

Ok!!! I fixed it myself. I went into advanced properties, clicked on the direct x tab, clicked compatiblity settings, then clicked on "Support W-Buffer". The help tab said "Certain applications requre the increased precision of W-buffering and exhibit artifacts unless W-buffer is Enabled. It is recommended that W-buffer be disabled for games that do not support this feature."Maybe someone should give people a heads up about that at the Auran boards?(EDIT: Spelling)
